​Megha Chakraborty joins the cast of Jhanak

Actress Megha Chakraborty has officially joined the cast of Jhanak, just days after the show took a significant five-year leap. The actress will be seen playing the role of Ishani.Sharing about her role in the show, she shares, “Ishani brings a fresh, independent story to Jhanak. Her introduction is about exploring new relationships, conflicts, and emotional layers within the world of the show.I started shooting for it a few days back, and my character went on air four days back."She adds, “What I can say is that Ishani’s journey in Jhanak is self-contained and altogether a different story. She has her own motivations, secrets, and connections that will unfold in unexpected ways.”Megha has been part of TV shows like Badii Devrani, Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par and Imlie, among others.The ongoing show Jhanak recently went through a five-year generational leap, and it is soon set to take a 20-year leap, which will replace the existing cast.Megha and actor Sahil Phull recently got married in January, are celebrating their time together. Talking about her new beginnings, Megha said in an earlier interview, "It's been a few months since I have been married. Sometimes I still pinch myself to realise that I am married now, and it is a good feeling. Sahil and I spent some time in our hometowns and we had a good time there."
