Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudheen-starrer ‘Padakkalam’ is emerging as an unexpected box office success, collecting an impressive Rs 5.25 crore worldwide within its first week of release.
According to data from the Sacnilk website, ‘Padakkalam’ has earned Rs 4.68 crore from its Indian run, with the remaining collection expected to come from overseas markets. The day-wise figures highlight a steady rise in footfalls, with Day 7 alone bringing in Rs 68 lakhs, closely following the Rs 71 lakhs and Rs 72 lakhs earned on Days 6 and 5, respectively. The weekend collections were especially strong, with Day 3 pulling Rs 1.09 crore.
