'Jewel Thief' producer Siddharth Anand says Saif Ali Khan scares people with his jokes: 'His sense of humour is wild'

The much-awaited trailer of Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat starrer 'Jewel Thief' is finally out, and the makers were seen attending a grand trailer launch event in the city, where they shared some playful moments with the media. Saif, Jaideep, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta, along with directors Robbie Grewal and Kookie Gulati, and producer Siddharth Anand, were seen gracing the event.
Siddharth Anand, who has previously worked with Saif on Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum, shared some candid moments with the actor during the media interaction. “Saif has grown wider and taller. Otherwise, he is the same. He is lovable. He is someone who is a darling on set. He makes everybody comfortable, and I’m glad this quality about him hasn’t changed,” Siddharth shared.

However, he also mentioned the actor’s trademark humour, which keeps everyone on their toes. “Though, sometimes his jokes scare people. His sense of humour is wild,” he remarked, drawing laughter from the crowd. When asked if there was any aspect of Saif he’d wish to tweak, Siddharth quipped, “He should come on time.”

Speaking about the film, Siddharth described Jewel Thief as a gripping heist drama crafted for the OTT audience. Jewel Thief is scheduled to premiere on one of the leading OTT platforms on April 25, 2025. The film had already generated immense buzz with an unexpected song, Jaadu’, in which Jaideep’s impeccable dance moves and hook steps took the internet by storm. Many compared the performance to Vicky Kaushal’s viral Tauba Tauba steps.
