WWE fans always get excited when signs of something new start showing up behind the scenes. Recently, WWE made a move that has everyone talking. The company filed a trademark for the term “Adrenaline Drip,” and while it is not clear what it will be used for yet, it sounds like something exciting is on the way.
At the same time, WWE also brought back a trademark connected to its past. The name “Edge,” once used by Hall of Famer Adam Copeland, has officially been revived. While Copeland now goes by Cope in AEW, WWE seems keen on keeping control of the name he made famous during his long WWE run.

What could be the possible meaning of "Adrenaline Drip"?

The trademark for “Adrenaline Drip” was officially filed on May 1, 2025, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It was listed under entertainment services, which often includes character names, tag teams, or themes related to WWE programming. That suggests it’s likely connected to a wrestler and not just a show title.
The application was filed under Serial Number 99165267 with the USPTO on May 1, 2025, and is described as:
“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service…”
That description is a strong hint that this is more than just a background trademark. WWE has used similar descriptions in the past when creating names for wrestlers or groups. While no names have been attached to it yet, fans are already guessing it could be for a debuting superstar or a current talent getting a new direction.

WWE has a history of building up new characters with powerful names, and “Adrenaline Drip” definitely has a strong and energetic sound to it. The name alone creates interest, and the filing shows that WWE is thinking ahead.

WWE also restored the "Edge" trademark some time ago

Along with this new term, WWE also fixed a filing issue for one of its most legendary trademarks. The trademark for “Edge” was marked abandoned in April 2025 after the company missed a response deadline. However, WWE quickly acted and submitted a revival notice to keep the name active. A Notice of Revival, dated May 1, 2025 states the following:
“The above-referenced application has been REVIVED and will be forwarded to the appropriate section of the Office for further action.”
The Edge name is deeply connected to the history of WWE. Adam Copeland made it famous during his long career with the company before moving to AEW. Even though he now performs under a new name, WWE still values the brand that Edge represents.
WWE often uses trademark filings as a way to protect its past and build its future. Whether it’s to bring back a legacy name or prepare for something new, these filings matter in more ways than one.

With “Adrenaline Drip” on the horizon and “Edge” back under the control of WWE, it is clear the company is staying active both behind the scenes and on-screen. These trademark filings are a peek into what might be coming next, and fans will be watching closely to see how it all unfolds.
