Beetroot Carrot Kanji is a tangy, refreshing, and nutrient-packed drink that is perfect for summer. This traditional Indian drink is full of probiotics, which makes it good for digestion, and gut health. Here's how you can make it at home:

2 medium-sized beetroots, 2 medium-sized carrots, 1 tablespoon mustard seeds, 1 tablespoon grated ginger, 1-2 green chilies, 1 teaspoon black salt, 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1-2 tablespoons sugar, 2 liter water, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 green chilies.

To begin with this easy recipe, wash the veggies.

Next, cut, grate or chop the veggies.

Now take a grinder and grind the mustard seeds, along with rock salt, black pepper and red chili powder. Grind it all together to make a spice mix.

Now, take a jar or large bowl, and add in chopped green chilies, ginger chunks and veggies.

Add in all the water to this jar/ bowl and add in the spice mix. Give it a nice stir.

Add in the remaining ingredients like sugar and lemon juice, cover the jar with a lid or cloth, keep in sunlight for 2-3 days.
